1. Seller Identification

2. Purpose and Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) apply to all orders placed on the PaintMyBuddy.com website.
They govern the sale of personalized products based on photos provided by the customer: canvas prints or digital files.
Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs.
3. Personalized Products
The products offered are fully personalized according to the instructions and files (photo of the pet) provided by the customer.
⚠️ The customer is solely responsible for the quality and compliance of the photos provided.
The final rendering strongly depends on the quality of the source image.
Each visual is created manually or with the support of AI tools, then formatted for printing or digital use.
4. Order and Validation
The ordering process is as follows:
The customer chooses a model, uploads a photo of their pet, and places an order.
A preview is sent via email within 7 business days.
The customer can:
request one or more minor modifications (limited to 2 rounds of edits),
approve the final creation.
Once validated, the product is printed or sent in digital version (HD PDF).
❗ Any validated order can no longer be modified, canceled, or refunded, in accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (see §8).
5. Prices and Payment Terms
Prices are listed in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT).
The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but products are invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time of order confirmation.
Accepted payment methods are:
💳 Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
💻 PayPal
🏦 Bank transfer
🏁 Bancontact (for Belgian customers)
Payment is required in full at the time of ordering.
6. Delivery and Lead Times
Lead times are indicative and may vary depending on the period and volume of orders.
Digital products:
HD PDF file sent via email within 2 business days after validation.
Printed canvases:
Delivery between 5 and 12 business days depending on the destination country.
📦 Parcels are shipped via partner carriers (Bpost, Mondial Relay, etc.) with a tracking number.
The Seller cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carriers.
7. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to measure based on the customer’s specifications.
No cancellation, exchange, or refund will be accepted once the creation is validated.
8. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days after receipt of the product.
They must be justified and accompanied by evidence (photo, screenshot, clear description of the issue).
Defects related to:
a low-quality source photo,
a customer error or omission,
a slight color variation due to printing or screen display, cannot give rise to a refund or exchange.
9. Intellectual Property
All created works, visuals, templates, concepts, texts, and images present on the PaintMyBuddy.com website are protected by copyright.
The customer is granted a personal and private usage right of the ordered visual, but may under no circumstances resell, reproduce, or commercially exploit the work without written permission.
10. Personal Data
The processing of personal data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be held liable in the event of force majeure or events beyond their control preventing order delivery (e.g.: strike, disaster, war, network outage, etc.).
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These T&Cs are governed by Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will first be sought.
Failing that, only the courts of the Brussels district shall have jurisdiction.
